Jacob is an experienced litigator whose practice emphasizes mass torts and class actions. He’s adept at handling all aspects of civil litigation, from drafting the complaint through final disposition. Jacob earned his Juris Doctor from LSU in 2012, graduating magna cum laude and Order of the Coif. During law school, Jacob was a member of the Louisiana Law Review; competed for the Admiralty moot court team; and won the Dean’s Cup Competition – the school’s 3L appellate advocacy competition. After law school, Jacob clerked for Magistrate Judge Kathleen Kay in the Western District of Louisiana. He previously worked a boutique oil and gas firm, where he represented up- and mid-stream companies in litigation and transactions, as well as a noted plaintiff-side complex litigation firm, where he managed several mass tort dockets representing plaintiffs who suffered workplace injuries from exposure to toxic substances.
