Laborde Earles is excited to announce the return of the 4th Annual Project Backpack, dedicated to supporting children across Central Louisiana and Lafayette Parish. By easing the burden of rising school supply costs, we aim to provide equal opportunities for all students. This year we are expanding our reach by partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana in Carencro to support and donate over 500 backpacks to ALL students at Live Oak Elementary. In addition to this exciting partnership event, we will also be hosting an Alexandria pick up event (for non Live Oak Elementary Students) at the Laborde Earles Coliseum!
We look forward to giving away over 700 backpacks filled with school supplies to help students start the new school year off right! To apply for a backpack, fill out the form below. Mark your calendars! Backpacks will be available for pickup on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Laborde Earles Coliseum in Alexandria, LA on Friday, July 18th (11:30am-1:30pm)
Applications for our Alexandria event are now open to students in grades Pre-K through 8th grade. Join us in making this school year a success for every child!
