Scheduled for May 17th, Bike It Forward aims to reward students who exhibit strong school participation during state testing week. Beyond recognizing attendance and effort, the event underscores the importance of child safety, health, and overall well-being. By providing bikes and helmets to selected students, Laborde Earles and Big Brothers Big Sisters hope to promote not only physical activity but also a sense of accomplishment and pride in academic achievement.
The selection process for bike recipients will be based on various factors, including attendance, preparation, and behavior during state testing week. Winners will be notified in advance of the event. During the bike giveaway event on May 17th, we will offer refreshments, bike safety gear, and a bicycle obstacle course for the kids to test out their new bikes.
David Laborde, a partner at Laborde Earles, said, “For our eighth Bike It Forward event, we met with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana to see how our event could have a bigger impact based on our community’s needs.”
Laborde Earles injury was great for me they took care of me very fast and professional. If for any reason I need legal help they will be who I use.
ClientThis sentiment was echoed by Kalli Christ, Chief Executive Officer of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana. “We are so excited for this year’s partnership with Laborde Earles and to work with S.J. Montgomery Elementary to help empower and inspire local students to do well on their state testing.”
I thank God for Digger & David. I don’t know what we would have done if it hadn’t have been for them.
Rick Smith | ClientDigger Earles highlighted the multifaceted benefits of this year’s Bike It Forward event. “What’s great about this year’s Bike It Forward event is that we’re promoting bicycle safety and physical activity, while also encouraging students to succeed in school. These are critical components of a child’s future and ultimately benefit our entire community.”
This event will be celebrating those children selected and notified before the event that they won a bike. The event is not open to the public.
The reassurance from Digger and his staff gave me that renewed hope that it’s going to be okay down the road.
