Attorney Profile – Scott Higgins
Born and raised in Louisiana, grew up near New Orleans. I had a grandfather and an uncle that were attorneys. I always just admired them and the way they had attacked the problem, and they were my inspiration for being a lawyer.
I did defense work for a number of years. Being a former insurance defense attorney, I know how the other side thinks. I know the tricks that the defense side uses. I know how insurance companies evaluate claims.
When I was on the defense side, I had cases against David and Digger. I always thought very highly of them, and when I decided to change from the defense side to the plaintiff personal injury side, there were only a select handful of folks that I considered working with, and David and Digger were at the top. They’re good people here. Everything is above board. What you see is what you get with these guys.
I love the new challenges I get to face every day. I love the smiles on clients’ faces when you get a good result for them. I promise them that I will do the absolute best that I can. I get my background with defense litigation, I get to apply that use everything I’ve learned throughout the years defending claims, and now turn that against the insurance companies and put that to work for you.
